A sell-out crowd of approximately 100 people attended the RI Shriner’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.
The festive evening included a buffet, dessert table and cash bar as well as entertainment by the Tom Lanigan Band that performed traditional, contemporary and original Irish music. The Tom Lanigan Band has performed throughout New England for over 20 years, including appearances at the renowned Newport, Boston, & Dorchester Irish Festivals.
After the buffet attendees took to the dance floor to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Maeve Maldonis, age 9, performed a solo Irish Step Dance to close out the evening to a standing ovation. (Text by Meri R. Kennedy)
