Supporting Sandy victims

Oak Lawn Elementary School recently raised $553 to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Students and staff collected donations at the suggestion of fifth grader Caitlin Lopez. Donations were then given to The United Way, ensuring the funds would go directly to those in need in the wake of the storm. Pictured here is Lopez, along with fifth grade teacher Lynne Morales and Chris Medici from The United Way.
