Thankful for Thanksgiving at Park View

THANKFUL FOR SO MUCH: Seventh graders Adrian Herrera, Jonathon Guerra-Montego, John Sanchez Fuerte and Luis Sanchez Mercedes were the first students to get up and read their Thanksgiving essays to the audience, listing the many things that they were each thankful for this year.

A MESSAGE OF THANKS: Superintendent Dr. Judith Lundsten thanks the students on the Explorer team for inviting her to the annual Thanksgiving Dinner and encouraged them stay safe over the long weekend.

The seventh and eighth grade English Language Learner students on the Explorer Team at Park View Middle School hosted their annual Thanksgiving dinner recently, sharing not only a meal with their guests but also essays about the things they were each thankful for this year, including food, friends and an education here in the United States. The meal included guests from the community as well as the Cranston Public Schools Central Office staff.
