“It’s inspiring to be with young people who want to make a positive impact in the world,” said Magaziner. “From Block Island to Woonsocket; these high school juniors have a record of accomplishment in the classroom, as well as in their community. I am honored to have the opportunity to recognize members of this generation’s outstanding young leaders.”

The award, presented during a ceremony at the Rhode Island State House, recognizes the students’ outstanding achievement in business-related courses, as well as a commitment to their community and demonstrating strong leadership skills. Each awardee was nominated by school administrators.
