Louis G. McDonald, 45, of Cranston, died October 2, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Providence, Louis was employed as an assembler at CranstonArc for 30 years. He was an avid Red Sox fan. Louis was the Godson of Michelle L. Hayes of Cranston and Gregory Beland of South Attleboro, Mass. He is also survived by his friends with whom he made his home, David Gonzalez, David Maldavir and Michael Vargas. His funeral was held at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston October 6, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston. Burial was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: CranstonArc, 111 Comstock Parkway, Cranston, RI 02921.
