THE WINNING TEAM:  Shania Chin, Mia Santomassimo, Jordan Buttie and Victoria Badger, known as “The Street Sweepers,” and their faculty adviser, Michael Blackburn, shared their winning story last week. The group of students joined together as a team to enter the 2021 eCybermission STEM competition sponsored by the U.S. Army and the Army Educational Outreach Program. They were recognized as regional finalists and received the Best in State title for Rhode Island for their project, which focused on the problem of excessive amounts of sand and debris found on the roadways in their local community.
