To the Editor:
When assuming the leadership of the House of Representatives, Speaker Mattiello made clear that his focus would be on jobs and the economy. To Rhode Island’s benefit, Speaker Mattiello has been steadfast in such commitment, and it is in the best interest of our state that his leadership continue.
Speaker Mattiello engages with home builders and remodelers in our state to understand the challenges confronting our small businesses, and works diligently to best provide a fair and stable environment that is supportive of the residential construction industry and the good jobs we provide, which is critical to our state’s economic success and quality of life.
At a time of unprecedented uncertainty and turmoil, Speaker Mattiello continues to be a consistent, prudent and steady leader who has never lost his focus. Given his proven track record, it is clear to me that our communities will benefit from the continued service of Speaker Mattiello. David A. Caldwell Jr.
President, Caldwell & Johnson
Past President, RI Builders Association
