A great day for a stroll to benefit the Tomorrow Fund

This past Sunday was a great day for the 19th Stroll and Roll in Garden City Center which benefited the Tomorrow Fund.

Hundreds of participants with 49 teams were present; many were Tomorrow Fund clients and their parents, family members and members of the general public. There were characters, a cartoonist, music and much more. Funds raised exceed $105,000 and will help provide much-needed programs such as home expenses (mortgages, rents, utilities), prepaid hospital parking passes for duration of treatments as well as survivor programs and funeral expenses for those who lose their battle with cancer.

There were raffles as well as awards and trophies for several categories.

The Tomorrow Fund’s mission is to provide daily financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families who are treated at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence.
