K-9 Charley, the new compassion dog for the Warwick Police Department was recently sworn in by Mayor Frank Picozzi. Charley was purchased through fundraising efforts which also helped to raise funds for immediate needs including for vet visits, leashes, and other needed supplies. Charley who is only a few weeks old is being trained like any other puppy by his handler Sgt. William Castaldi before she helps with different situations. Charley already has her own Blackberry Jam and her own Facebook page.
