Former Cranston City Councilman Ed Brady and Jeff Quinlan, owners of the Dig In Dining & Entertainment Restaurant Group, will reveal their vision for the Park Theatre at Feb. 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the theatre. Brady and Quinlan recently purchased the historic theatre from Pi Patel who reopened the building in 2009. He reportedly invested $12 million in renovations.
On Feb. 22 Brady and Quinlan will talk about dining opportunities, types of entertainment in its 1,050-seat theatre and the areas available for private bookings. In an interview Thursday, Brady said the company aims to create a space where people can come together and be present in the moment; it’s the perfect place to step away from internal struggles and realities and simply relax and be inspired.
The Park Theatre opened in 1926 and ran until the early 2000s. The pandemic closed the facility in 2020, leading to Brady’s eventual purchase.
“I’m very gracious and thankful for my business partner Jeff Quinlan and others who have continued to invest in me throughout the process to help a little kid who had a dream and continues to dream continue to bring it to life – and I want to do it all here in my home in Cranston, Rhode Island.”
