With temperatures toppling records on Friday, Deb Grimaldi and her husband of Cranston headed for Conimicut Point Beach to beat the heat and enjoy a bit of early summer. “This is like paradise and it’s just beautiful,” said Deb. She didn’t venture further into the water than splashing her feet, but that was quite enough.
