The Cranston Herald’s Athlete of the Week is East volleyball player Charlie Pincince. After the team lost star outside hitter Jethro Vargas to injury earlier this season, Pincince has stepped up to fill the void and has been one of the state’s breakout players this spring. Pincince entered the week with a whopping 132 kills, which was good for third in the state. Pincince’s presence has allowed the Bolts to remain in the Division I playoff race and will be key moving forward.
