The Cranston Herald’s Athlete of the Week is Cranston-East Greenwich girls hockey co-op forward Sofia Nardelli. The freshman standout, who currently leads the team with eight goals on the season, came up big once again when she scored a hat trick against host Burrillville last week. The Thunderbirds erased an early two-goal deficit to get the 6-4 victory, which was their first win since the 2021 season.
