Members of the Disability Self-Advisory Group, also called Avatar hosted a holiday party and fundraiser at the Pub on Park on December 7. The event featured a bake sale, art sale and live music by Ray and the Avatar Band, a group composed of members and employees of the organization. The Disability Self-Advisory Group facilitates spaces in which folks living with disabilities can get together, talk about what’s on their minds, and work to self-advocate.
