Barbara L. (Megarry) Crosby, age 88, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Coventry. She was the loving wife for 63 years to the late Roger C. Crosby.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late William Hendry Megarry and Mildred (Hayes) Megarry, she lived in Warwick for 62 years. Mrs. Crosby was a member of the Narragansett Bay Quilters Association. She was a former Campfire Girls Leader. In her local church, Barbara helped the Lao and Hmong refugees transition into the community; taking them to appointments, helping them find housing, and teaching them English. She was also instrumental in the success of the church-run food bank.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah J. Loveridge of Swansea, MA, Karen A. New of Coventry, and Bethany S. Morse of North Kingstown; a son, Jeffrey A. Crosby of Scituate; a sister, Mildred Silvia of Wesley Chapel, FL. She had eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Megarry and Irving Megarry.

Her funeral service was held on Thursday, June 17, in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
