Barbara (Quatro) Pertuso, 96, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Sunny View Nursing Home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Maria (Russillo) Quatro and the stepdaughter of the late Margaret (Seneca) Quatro. She was the loving wife of the late Angelo J. Pertuso for over fifty-five years. Barbara worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Leviton Manufacturing Company and later Nyman Manufacturing Company. Upon her retirement in 1985, she cared for her cherished grandchildren which gave her much joy. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Warwick for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing golf and card games, occasional visits to the casinos, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox. She is survived by her beloved son, David J. Pertuso (Karen) of Warwick, her grandchildren, Mark D. Pertuso (Lisa) of Tomball, TX, Lauren LeClair (Michael) of Coventry, and Matthew Pertuso of West Warwick, her great-grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Margaret, and Mary, her sisters-in-law, Ginny Morrill and Jean Mildner, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Cheryl Pertuso, and the sister of the late Elizabeth DeCesare, Romeo Quatro, Fred Carpenter, Roy Carpenter, Rose Parmentier, Anna Niemszyk, Carrie DiCenzo, and Carrie Nolan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00AM at St. Clement Catholic Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Interment will take place at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30AM-10:30AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Sts.
