Daniel Edward Barrow, 58, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, December 1, 2024. After courageously facing a long illness, during his final days he was surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Robert G. Barrow, Sr. and Mary (Conway) Barrow.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Deborah (Osborne) Barrow and Diavion Fonseca whom Dan cherished as his own daughter. He also leaves his brothers Robert G. Barrow, Jr, and his wife Eileen, John Barrow and his wife Linda; stepmother JoAnne Barrow; Aunt Dawn McGuinness; Uncle Nicholas Frongillo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Throughout his adult life, Dan volunteered in a Bible educational work, disaster relief efforts around the United States, and in recent years he focused his efforts on helping people within the blind community learn God's Word. Being self-employed, Dan started and owned his own property management business.
In his younger days, Dan had a true passion for baseball and excelled as a star pitcher and led his team to many victories. As an accomplished trombone player, Dan played in many local bands, one of which was the Rhode Island Youth Stage Band.
While enjoying nature, planting gardens, feeding his turkeys and other wildlife, Dan was known as 'the turkey whisperer'. Other interests which filled Dan's life with joy and peace were, carpentry, photography, traveling, and his love of old cars.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all the neighbors, friends, family and nurses who made Dan feel especially loved for and cared for during his illness.
