St. Mary Academy – Bay View was recently ranked one of the Top 10 best private schools in Rhode Island by the rankings’ platform Niche.
The 2024 rating is based on Niche’s analysis of survey results from hundreds of parents and students who evaluated the school on its academics, admissions process, athletics programs and clubs and activities.
“Our Bay View family is a beautiful mosaic, rich in history, academic excellence, and rooted in Mercy values,” said Bay View President Amy Gravell, a 1993 graduate of the school. “These recent accolades and achievements underscore our unwavering commitment to excellence.”
In addition to the overall best in class private school ranking, Bay View received top 10 placements in several other categories including best college prep school, best private K-12 schools, and a nod for being one of the best all-girls high schools in the U.S!
Bay View’s Class of 2023 achieved a 100 percent graduation rate and received more than $19 million in scholarships to 144 colleges and universities. These completion rates are made possible in part by a devoted staff of educators and faculty, many of whom hold advanced degrees.
