Margaret (Lil) Brodeur, 96, of Warwick passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Kent Regency Center on April 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of John Brodeur for 72 years before his passing in 2022.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Pitocco) Tucci.
A woman of strong faith, she was a communicant of St. Timothy’s Church. For Margaret, nothing brought her as much joy as being with her family. It was an insult to walk into her house and not have something to eat. She lived her life to the fullest, all who knew her loved her. She worked at Lee’s Cathay Terrace, Golden Pacific, then Jade Dragon where she reluctantly retired at age 90!
She leaves her 4 sons, Steve Brodeur and wife Patricia, Gary Brodeur and wife Lynne, John Brodeur and wife Sue and Mark Brodeur; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Anthony Tucci, the late Camilla Grande, the late Rudolph Tucci and the late Fred Tucci.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. from the Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI. Interment will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick, RI. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
