Care New England Health System’s Marketing Department was recently awarded three Lamplighter Awards for Excellence in various categories including marketing, PR, campaign, and social media during the 2025 New England Society for Healthcare Communications Organization’s (NESHCo) 34th Annual Conference in Springfield, Massachusetts. For four decades, NESHCo has served as the region’s premier professional development organization for communication professionals working in the healthcare industry. The Society is composed of more than 200 members throughout New England. The Lamplighters were established to showcase and honor excellence in healthcare communications throughout the New England region. Care New England’s 2025 NESHCo Lamplighter Awards went to: Campaign Division public relations Raina C. Smith for Butler Short Stay Unit; Service Line Marketing for Kent Hospital at Home to Julie Aponte; Short Format Social Media Video Series (Reels) to Meagan Willett and Ryan Pickering for Kent Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital Breast Health Reels.
