With registration open for the Spring 2022 semester beginning this week, the Community College of Rhode Island is hosting a series of virtual open house and on-campus enrollment events for prospective and returning students.
Virtual Open House events are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17 and Tuesday, Nov. 30, both at 6 p.m. Registration is available online. Both sessions are available via Zoom.
At Virtual Open House, students and their families can learn about the Rhode Island Promise and COVID Recovery free tuition scholarships; search more than 90 programs of study and academic/career paths offered by the college; explore student life, athletics, and student support services; learn about financial aid opportunities and the important of filing the FAFSA; speak with CCRI faculty, staff, and graduates on the benefits of attending the college; and learn about transfer opportunities to Rhode Island College and the University of Rhode Island through the Joint Admissions Agreement (JAA) program.
Virtual Open House is open to all high school students, adult learners, transfer students, and current CCRI students.
New and returning students ready to enroll for the upcoming Winter or Spring semesters should also attend one of five scheduled in-person Enrollment Days at any of CCRI’s four campuses in November and December.
At Enrollment Days, students can get help with applying to CCRI, seek financial aid support, schedule or take their ACCUPLACER placement exam, select and register for classes, and learn about available scholarships. Enrollment Days are scheduled for:
Wednesday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Knight Campus
Wednesday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Liston Campus
Wednesday, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Flanagan and Newport County Campus
Wednesday, Dec. 15, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Liston Campus
Wednesday, Jan. 5, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Knight Campus
