William Chew, 71, a retired commercial fisherman and owner and operator of Contemporary Floors passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved companion of Karen I. DeCiutis for 26 years and former husband of the late Mary Chew. William was the father of Joseph Pulaski, Shannon Valverde and Monaca Mullin-LaFleur. Brother of Patricia Lawrence and the late George Chew, Frank Chew, Marge Walsh and Barbara Chew. He is also survived by many grandchildren. Bill was a member of NA 27 years recovery.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnson. Visiting hours, Monday, 4-7pm.
