(777 Cranston Street)

There will be a Public Hearing to consider a proposed amendment, Ordinance No. 9-21-02 to the Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map to change the zoning for certain property located on 777 Cranston Street and known as Assessor’s Plat 7/2, Lot 1 (the “Property”) as zoned M-2.  The subject property is depicted on the enclosed map.

The applicant is requesting a change of zone for Assessor’s Plat 7/2 Lot 1 (the “Property”) M-2 to C-5 with use and signage conditions.  The application states that the property is to be used for “Multi-Use Commercial Development”.

The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2021 at 6:30 pm before the Ordinance Committee in the Cranston City Hall Council Chambers, 869 Park Ave., Cranston RI and via Zoom Webinar by logging into the link below or by phone by calling any of the numbers listed below:

Pursuant to R.I.G.L. 45-23-53(A)(5), these proposed regulations may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing, provided that any such alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the public hearing.

All persons interested in the above are requested to be present at the time and place to be heard thereon or via Zoom Webinar.
