You are hereby notified that the Cranston City Plan Commission will meet to review the Master Plan for a proposed Major Land Development to develop 8 housing units entitled “Sprague Covington Plat.” This public informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, located at 869 Park Avenue.
The subject parcel is located at 1369 Park Avenue, further identified as Assessor’s Plat 11, Lots 273 and 4062. The entire parcel is 0.81 +/- acres. The property owner and applicant is Sprague Covington, LLC, P.O. Box 7537, Cranston, RI 02910. The property is currently zoned C-3.
The applicant proposes to merge the 2 lots into 1 lot, while developing the site with 8 housing units along with associated parking facilities and landscaping. The housing units will be serviced by public water and sewer. The applicant has proposed a corresponding zone change of the property to C-2 with conditions, which requires additional public notice and a separate application procedure.
All interested parties are invited to attend this public informational meeting at which plans will be presented for public comment and City Plan Commission review. Plans for these applications are available at the Planning Department, Cranston City Hall Room 309, between 8:30 A.M.–4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Prior to the public hearing, the City’s staff memo/recommendation and other meeting materials will be posted to the City’s Planning Department webpage when available.
Pursuant to the Cranston Subdivision and Land Development Regulations, the proposed plan may be revised by the City Plan Commission as a result of further study or because of views expressed at this meeting.
