CITY OF CRANSTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Master Plan - Major Land Development

You are hereby notified that the Cranston City Plan Commission will meet to review the Master Plan for a proposed Major Land Development project entitled “Comstock Industrial”.  This public informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 6:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber of Cranston City Hall, 869 Park Avenue.

The subject parcel is located on Comstock Parkway, further identified as Assessor’s Plat 36, Lot 46.  The parcel is 17.31 acres and is zoned M-1.  The property owner and applicant are Comstock Industrial, LLC, 36 Sherwood Place, LL, Greenwich, CT 06830. 

The proposed Major Land Development project consists of two (2) buildings totaling approximately 270,000 square feet to be used consistent with uses allowed in the M-1 zoning district, such as manufacturing, warehousing, and trucking activities.  The project will be serviced by public water and sewer.  A snippet from the proposed site plan has been included on the back on this notice for illustrative purposes.

All interested parties are invited to attend this public informational meeting at which plans will be presented for public comment and City Plan Commission review.  Prior to the meeting, the proposed plans and the City staff memo/recommendation will be posted to the City’s Planning Department webpage.  Plans are also available to review in-person at the Planning Department, Cranston City Hall Room 309, between 8:30 A.M.–4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Pursuant to the Cranston Subdivision and Land Development Regulations, the proposed plan may be revised by the City Plan Commission as a result of further study or because of views expressed at this meeting.  Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired should contact the Planning Department at 461-1000 ext. 3136, seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting date.
