CITY OF CRANSTON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT 2024-2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN PUBLIC MEETING AND INFORMATIONAL SESSION

The City of Cranston has drafted its 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The FY 2025 AAP pertains to CDBG activities for the program year July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. The City has received a CDBG grant of $1,086,719 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for program year 2024 to address goals and objectives in the City’s 2020 – 2025 Consolidated Plan. AAPs are required reports that outline the usage of funds, priorities, needs, and goals of the CDBG program for each Consolidated Plan program year. The FY 2025 AAP is available for public review and comment before submission to HUD for approval.

PUBLIC MEETING & INFORMATIONAL SESSION

The public is invited to participate in a public meeting and informational session on the Annual Action Plan on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 6:00pm at the Cranston Senior Center, 1070 Cranston Street, Cranston RI, 02920.  Comments received during the meeting will be summarized in the final submission to HUD. Anyone unable to attend the meeting may submit written comments to the Cranston Dept. of Community Development office via mail.
