Claire Louise (Masello) Marinaro, 89, formerly of Furlong Street, Cranston passed away January 11, 2021 in Morgan Health Center. She was the loving wife of the late Pasquale C. Marinaro.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Linda (Bonardi) Masello. Claire owned and operated Idle Hour Ceramics, which made porcelain dolls, for many years. She also worked as a teacher’s aide in the Cranston School Department and was also an associate at Joann Fabrics. Claire was a member of several quilting clubs and was a Girl Scout Leader and was actively involved with the Cub Scouts. Claire, along with her husband retired to Florida in the late 1980’s until their return in 2010.
She was the beloved mother of Lee C. Marinaro of Cranston and Lynette M. Marinaro-Taraian and her husband David and cherished grandmother of Michelle and Rachel. She was also the sister of Raymond Masello.
Her funeral and burial was private.
