Community Development Consolidated Plan

The Consolidated Plan for the period from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2025 is a five-year guide for resource allocation which addresses:

• Affordable Housing, Rehabilitation of existing Housing Stock and other related housing topics
• Neighborhood Development
• Public facilities and Improvements
• Services for Youth and the Elderly
• Economic Development including Job Creation
• Health and Wellness Programs
• Elimination of Slum Blight

The Department of Community Development announces that the projects contained in 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan are supported in whole or in part by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) appropriation from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount of $1,098,683 for program year 2020-2021.  There will be a 30 day Public Comment period for both the Five-Year Consolidated Plan and the 2020-2021 Action Plan beginning January 28, 2021 and ending February 26, 2021.

Drafts of the Consolidated Plan and the Action Plan will be made available for viewing and public comment at the following location on January 28, 2021 and online at the City’s website.
