DRUG CHARGES

On Aug. 27 at 5 p.m., police arrested Angel Aquino, 30, 100 Elena St., Apt. 914, Cranston, on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery of cocaine and manufacturing/possession/delivery of fentanyl. Police say Aquino was arrested as a result of a narcotics investigation on Elena Street.

DUI

On Aug. 23 at 7:36 p.m., police arrested Bryan Anderson, 23, 173 Julian St., Apt. 2, Providence, on a charge of driving under the influence, second offense. Police say Anderson was arrested after officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Gansett Avenue.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On Aug. 23 at 10:16 a.m., police arrested Brian Carvalho, 30, 237 Narragansett St., Cranston, on a charge of domestic assault on a person over 60 causing bodily injury.

On Aug. 23 at 11:21 a.m., police arrested Bobby Katsis, 41, 70 South Main St., Burrillville, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 23 at 6:33 p.m., police arrested Paul Bertsch, 33, 71 Grantland Road, Cranston, on charges of domestic assault by strangulation, domestic simple assault and battery, third or subsequent offense, domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property, third or subsequent offense, and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 25 at 7:35 p.m., police arrested Jeffrey Lachance, 49, 297 Mayfield Ave., Cranston, on a charge of domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property.

On Aug. 25 at 9:46 p.m., police arrested Catherine Bishop, 40, 101 Stony Acre Drive, Cranston, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 26 at 9:21 p.m., police arrested Sonia Cortes, 58, no address listed, on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct. Police say Cortes was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court.

On Aug. 26 at 10:33 p.m., police arrested Sean Moran, 52, 37 Sumner Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 27 at 12:55 p.m., police arrested Kristian Delavega, 26, 1 Stanford Ave., Providence, on a charge of domestic cyberstalking.

On Aug. 28 at 1:56 a.m., police arrested Lauren Bunszell, 21, 314 East St., Apt. 2R, Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 28 at 1:56 a.m., police arrested Matthew Bunszell, 55, 314 East St., Apt. 2R, Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault/battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 28 at 10:51 p.m., police arrested Michael Botelho, 31, 17 Fairbanks St., Cranston, on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

On Aug. 26 at 8 a.m., police arrested Keith Kay, 37, 85 Burnside St., Cranston, on a charge of second-degree sexual assault.

ASSAULT

On Aug. 25 at 6:20 a.m., police arrested Jorge Rodriguez, 26, 302 Vermont Apt. 2, Providence, on a charge of simple assault. Police say Rodriguez turned himself in at the department’s Garfield Avenue headquarters.

On Aug. 26 at 8:19 p.m., police arrested Edward Magnotta, 30, 459 Pontiac Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct. Police say Magnotta was arrested after officers responded to a reported assault on Pontiac Avenue.

SHOPLIFTING

On Aug. 28 at 8:36 p.m., police arrested Jose G. Mercado Cartajena, 37, 244 Broad St., Providence, on charges of shoplifting and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police say Mercado was arrested as a result of a larceny call on Broad Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On Aug. 28 at 9:06 a.m., police arrested Shani Lovick, 46, 1257 Cranston St., Cranston, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Lovick was arrested as the result of a suspicious activity call on Atwood Avenue.

On Aug. 29 at 9 p.m., police arrested Alexander Colon, 23, 40 Arlington Ave., Cranston, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Colon was transferred from the custody of Pawtucket Police.

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

On Aug. 28 at 12:11 a.m., police arrested Joselyn Mosquea, 39, 12 Oak St., Cranston, on charges of unnecessary cruelty to animals and mistreatment of animals. Police say Mosquea was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Victory Street.

RECKLESS DRIVING

On Aug. 25 at 11:20 p.m., police arrested Deandre Greene, 31, Waterbury, Connecticut, on a charge of reckless driving. Police say Greene was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 10 north and Niantic Avenue. He was additionally taken into custody as a fugitive from justice in Connecticut.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On Aug. 28 at 9:04 a.m., police arrested Edward Ely, 52, 1265 New London Ave., Cranston, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Ely was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Pippin Orchard Road.

LARCENY

On Aug. 28 at 2:46 a.m., police arrested Catarina Cordeiro, 35, Fall River, Massachusetts, on a charge of larceny under $500. Police say Cordeiro was arrested on an existing Cranston Police arrest warrant.

OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER

On Aug. 25 at 11:20 p.m., police arrested Flenechena Cubero, 21, Waterbury, Connecticut, on a charge of obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police say Cubero was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 10 north and Niantic Avenue.

NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

On Aug. 28 at 8:06 p.m., police arrested Sandon Gene Ciesynski, 44, 217 Pontiac Ave., Apt. 1, Cranston, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.

FAILURE TO REGISTER

On Aug. 25 at 11:30 a.m., police arrested Joshua Milton, 38, 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Police say Milton was transferred from the custody of Pawtucket Police.

On Aug. 26 at 8:26 a.m., police arrested Hulett Hill, 68, Alexandria, Virginia, on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. Police say Hill was arrested on Drowne Street and was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court.

WARRANTS

On Aug. 24 at 11:18 p.m., police took Lancelot Trejo, 19, 50 Arlington Ave., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant. Police say Trejo was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Cranston Street and Gansett Avenue.

On Aug. 25 at 3:07 p.m., police took Deven Lavalle, 21, 5 Maple St., Cranston, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Johnston Police. Police say Lavalle was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street.

On Aug. 26 at 9:38 p.m., police took Marielena Ramos, 27, Fall River, Massachusetts, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Providence Police. Police say Ramos was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 10 south and Reservoir Avenue.

On Aug. 27 at 8:28 a.m., police took Jorge Morales Salvador, 27, 88 Alverson Ave., Apt. 2, Providence, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Providence Police. Police say Morales Salvador was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Gansett Avenue.

On Aug. 27 at 2:52 p.m., police took Assad N. Braz, 20, 38 Doyle Ave., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Braz was arrested after officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Chapel View Boulevard.

On Aug. 27 at 4 p.m., police took Elizabeth Diaz Velasquez, 24, 14 Rose St., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Diaz Velasquez was arrested on Garfield Avenue.

On Aug. 27 at 5:45 p.m., police took Robert Vigeant, 58, 169 Ausdale Road, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Vigeant was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Uxbridge Street.

On Aug. 28 at 11:02 p.m., police took Manuel Garcia, 18, 81 Washington Ave., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant. Police say Garcia was arrested as a result of a call for service on Northup Street.
