Meet Opie! This dashing dude is looking for a home to call his own again. Opie came to the Cranston Animal Shelter as an owner surrender as they had fallen ill and the family could no longer provide the active lifestyle he needs.

If you’ve been looking for a fun-loving, energetic, active guy who loves the outdoors with bonus snuggles and belly rubs, he’s your man! Opie knows all of his basic commands, physical tasks and is eager to learn and please. He is a two-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix, 40 pounds, about 25 inches tall, neutered, rabies and distemper vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped.

He will be best suited as the only pet and with children 10 and older. For more information, please contact the Cranston Animal Shelter at (401) 464-8700.
