Cranston Athletic HOF inducts 2022 class
THE HOST: Michael Traficante, who ran the Athletic Hall of Fame, is pictured with his two daughters Lindsey and Lisa, who were both members of the 2003 Softball team and were inducted April 30 as State Champions.
ALL-AROUND COACH AND PLAYER: Dennis DeJesus, whose career included Assistant Basketball Coach at West, Bishop Hendricken, UMass-Dartmouth and Bryant. He also coached for CLCF basketball team and softball and serves as a basketball official.
THREE-SPORT PLAYER: Ed Brady, who was a three sport player (hockey, golf and soccer) and was a National Nominee for the Wendy’s High School Heisman.
MULTI-SPORT: Sue Burns from East was inducted for multiple sports including field hockey, softball, volleyball and basketball. She was also named the 1989 RI Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
