Sept. 26: Rhode Island Foundation Grants: The Rhode Island Foundation is offering local libraries, neighborhood groups and nonprofit organizations grants of up to $10,000 to fund proposals that bring people together. Sept. 26 is the deadline to apply.
Sept. 25: Flag Retirement Ceremony & Recruitment Night: On Thursday at 6 p.m., Pack 4 and Troop 4 Gaspee Plateau will hold a flag retirement and recruitment night at St. Peter's School on Mayfair Street in Warwick. Pack 4 is Cub Scouts, and their recruitment will end by 7:30 p.m. Troop 4’s meeting will end by 8:15 p.m.
Sept. 25: The Captain’s Cup will be held Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Warwick Country Club in honor of Paul Ryder’s memory by continuing his golf tradition.
