Dame Farm & Orchards – Johnston

Leave the Center at 9 a.m.
Fee: $12
You will enjoy a half hour wagon ride, a lemonade drink and receive three beautiful sunflowers from Dame Farm and Orchards’ flower fields. Their wagon rides are great fun. You will be able to see the entire farm from your seat. The rolling hills and elevated wooded path add tranquility to your 30 minute ride. Call 780-6220 for your reservation.

You may not be aware of this, but some prescription drugs can make you more sensitive to sunlight. At this presentation, you will learn what it means when a medication is sun sensitive, what meds make you sensitive to sunlight and how to treat sun sensitivity.

Calling Singers & Musicians
“Making Time for Making Music”
Interested in joining a singing group or band? The Cranston Senior Enrichment Center is starting a chorus group and a band! Anyone interested please call Amy at 780-6200.
Are you caring for someone with dementia who exhibits difficult to manage behaviors? You may be eligible to participate in a research study seeking advice and feedback from caregivers about what types of supports are needed. Enrolled participants will be compensated for their time. The study will take place (video call) through Rhode Island Hospital’s Neuropsychology Program. If interested, contact the study coordinator Dr. Kim Chapman at 401-829-4310.
