From Gaspee Days, to St. Mary's Feast to the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl, tradition is something that most Cranstonians take very seriously.
And, since 1980, the Cranston Hall of Fame traditionally, has been inducting graduates of Cranston High Schools into their fold.
The Hall of Fame recognizes people who have achieved success in their chosen field of profession and have made significant contributions to their communities on local, state or national levels.
This year's ceremony will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023,, at the Alpine Country Club. Cocktails and mingling start at 5:00 pm, and the program will start at 6:00 pm.
Not only does the Hall of Fame recognize Cranston graduates, recently, they have started giving scholarships to graduating seniors. With the hope, that they will someday be inductees themselves.
This year's inductees are a varied and diverse group of graduates. Giovanni Cicione, Stephen Devine, Tammy Eaton, Dr. Vincent Pellegrini and Mario Santomassimo, DPT. are the members of the newest class.
They all join a select group of individuals who made a mark, changing their parts of the world for the better.
