SEX OFFENDER NOTIFICATION
At 1:58 a.m., June 3, Cranston Police Officers arrested Orlando Alvarez, 54, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston for a Cranston Police arrest warrant for the charge of failure to notify of a sex offender change of address. The arrest was the result of an East Providence warrant pick up. According to Cranston Police, Alvarez was awaiting arraignment.
DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT
At 3:35 p.m., June 3, Cranston Police Officers arrested Julio Urbaez, 31, of 58 Leah St., Providence, for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 501 Reservoir Ave. According to Cranston Police, Urbaez was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
EMBEZZLEMENT
At 9:23 a.m., June 3, 0923 hours a Cranston Police Detectives arrested Gregory M. Gilmore, 36, of Haswill St., Warwick, for embezzlement/fraudulent conversion after a complaint was received from the New Balance Store at Garden City and a subsequent investigation. According to Cranston Police, Gilmore was transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
DOMESTIC VANDALISM
At 11:19 p.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Kimbery Rivera, 25, of 361 Dyer Ave., Cranston for domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
At the same time and place, Cranston Police Officers also arrested Juan C. Rodriguez, 34, of 361 Dyer Ave., Cranston for domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
The arrests were the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned location.
They were both arraigned and released by a bail commissioner, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
At 2:48 a.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested John E. Egan III, 32, of 28 Connecticut St., Apt. 2, Cranston, for domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned location. According to Cranston Police, Egan was arraigned and released by a bail commissioner.
OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER
At 12:03 a.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Johnny Montes De Oca, 60, of 34 America St., Cranston, for Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty and Violations of Acceptable Noise Levels as a result of a nuisance complaint at the aforementioned address. He was held for morning arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
DUI
At 1:38 a.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Maria Chacon-Sosa, 37, of 71 Chaucer St., Providence, for DUI (1st Offense, BAC Unknown) and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, as a result of an accident investigation on Dyer Avenue, according to Cranston Police. She was summonsed and released to Rhode Island Hospital Staff.
DUI
At 2:48 a.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Andrea Ottilige, 34, of 550 Reed St., Swansea, Massachusetts, for DUI (1st Offense) as a result of a suspicious vehicle call at the Pontiac Food Mart, 527 Pontiac Ave. The defendant was held for morning arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT
At 3:28 a.m., June 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Tiffany Quinones, 33, of 18 Osborn St., Apt. 3, Providence, for Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance at 30 Oak St. The defendant was held for morning arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
At 6:12 p.m., June 1, Cranston Police Officers arrested Michael Lopes, 39, of 20 Farwell St., Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned residence. Lopes was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace, according to Cranston Police.

Around 10:45 a.m., June 1, Cranston Police Officers arrested Ashley Colbert, 30, of 1185 Narragansett Blvd., No. 119, Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 68 Park View Blvd. According to Cranston Police, Colbert was waiting arraignment.
WEAPONS CHARGE
At 11:46 a.m., June 1, Cranston Police Officers arrested Christian Morales, 41, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, for Weapons other than Firearms Prohibited and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of 151 Oaklawn Ave. According to Cranston Police, Morales was awaiting arraignment.
SIMPLE ASSAULT
At 10:48 p.m., May 31, Cranston Police Officers arrested Alicia R. Lopes, 20, of 853 Lonsdale Avenue, Central Falls, for simple assault and vandalism. The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at 10 Oak St. Lopes was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
BENCH WARRANT
Around 8 p.m., May 31, Cranston Police Officers arrested Samuel Orellana, 39, of 1670 Broad St., Cranston, for an active Superior Court Bench Warrant. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Broad Street and Wheeler Avenue. He was transported to the ACI.
DUI
At 5:17 p.m., May 30, Cranston Police Officers arrested Susan Vannice, 43, of 86 Hamilton Ave., Barrington, for DUI (1st Offense, BAC Unknown) and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a call for service on Budlong Road. Vannice was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and Released.
SHOPLIFTING
At 9:06 p.m., May 30, Cranston Police Officers arrested Taylor Finnegan, 38, Homeless, for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop and Shop, 204 Garfield Ave. Finnegan was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and remanded to the ACI.

At 3:28 p.m., May 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jenna Giraitis, 25, of 31 Greeley St., Providence, for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop and Shop, 204 Garfield Ave. Giraitis was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.
VANDALISM
At 6:12 p.m., May 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Luigi Simeone, 37, of 348 Phenix Ave., Cranston, for Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 1108 Park Ave. According to Cranston Police, he was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and Released.
DUI
Around 7:42 p.m., April 20, Warwick Police were dispatched to 375 East Ave. for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Following the crash, the driver of one of the involved vehicles was suspected of possibly driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police identified the driver as Anthony T. Mam, 34, of 126 Dunedin St., Cranston.
Mam allegedly admitted to drinking “a little bit,” according to the police report.
Police asked Mam to consent to a series of standardized field sobriety tests. He agreed.
Following the tests, Mam was arrested and charged with DUI of Liquor (BAC unknown, second offense). Police said Mam had previously pleaded no contest to DUI charges in 2023. Mam also refused to take a chemical breath test. Police cited Mam for Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test (first offense), Text Messaging while Operating a Motor Vehicle (first offense), and Interval Between Vehicles (Following Too Close).
