On Dec. 29 at 2:44 p.m., police arrested Charles Gangi, 73, 17 B St., Cranston, on charges of first-degree murder, discharge of a firearm when committing a crime of violence, assault with a deadly weapon in a dwelling house, and firing in a compact area. Police say Gangi was arrested as a result of a call for service on B Street.
On Dec. 31 at 12:37 a.m., police arrested Peter Kolonick, 46, 88 Tower Hill Road, Cumberland, on charges of driving under the influence, driving a with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense, and disorderly conduct. Police say Kolonick was arrested as a result of a call for service on Phenix Avenue.
On Jan. 1 at 3:54 p.m., police arrested Shyanne Boisvert, 23, 20 Hurdis St., Apt. 19, North Providence, on charges of assault, reckless driving/eluding police, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police say Boisvert was arrested on Atwood Avenue.
On Jan. 1 at 3:54 p.m., police arrested Kemoni Mitchell, 22, 93 Goddard St., Apt. 2, Providence, on charges of manufacturing/possession/delivery of a controlled substance, reckless driving/eluding an officer in a high-speed pursuit, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police say Mitchell was arrested on Atwood Avenue.
On Jan. 1 at 3:54 p.m., police arrested Eduardo Rivera, 33, 20 Modena Drive, Warwick, on charges of assault, reckless driving/eluding an officer in a high-speed pursuit, and resisting arrest. Police say Rivera was arrested on Atwood Avenue.
On Jan. 2 at 1:37 a.m., police arrested Jan Velasquez, 22, 162 Metcalf St., Providence, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm. Police say Velasquez was arrested as a result of a suspicious person report on Pontiac Avenue.
On Dec. 28 at 8:35 p.m., police arrested Elsa Cuellar, 43, 111 Greenwood St., Cranston, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Cuellar was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Park Avenue.
On Dec. 30 at 8:33 p.m., police arrested Samnang Phin, 40, 654 Dyer Ave., Cranston, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Phin was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street.
On Dec. 31 at 8:28 p.m., police arrested Jose Guzman, 34, 44 Barrows St., Apt. 2, Providence, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Guzman was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Terrace and Webster avenues.
On Jan. 3 at 7:18 p.m., police arrested David Rogers, 51, 87 Evarts St., Newport, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Rogers was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Gansett Avenue.
On Jan. 3 at 7:20 p.m., police arrested Jose Bermudez Diaz, 18, 14 Rose St., Apt. 2, Cranston, on a charge of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. Police say Diaz was arrested as a result of a suspicious vehicle report on Carlton Street.
On Jan. 3 at 4:19 p.m., police arrested Darryl Adams, 51, no address listed, on a charge of assault by use of devices similar in appearance to a firearm. Police say Adams was arrested as a result of a home invasion investigation. He was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court.
On Jan. 3 at 3:35 p.m., police arrested Anthony Mossey Jr., 19, 14 Cedar St., Cranston, on charges of license or permit required for carrying a pistol and alteration of marks of identification on a firearm. Police say Mossey was arrested as a result of a suspicious vehicle report on Carlton Street.
On Dec. 30, police arrested Gerald Theberge, 69, 92 Dryden Blvd., Warwick, on charges of shoplifting and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police say Theberge was arrested on an existing Cranston Police warrant.
On Dec. 31 at 8:02 p.m., police arrested Alli Iannelli, 28, 2814 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, on a charge of willful trespassing Police say Iannelli was arrested as a result of a call for service on Southern Street.
On Jan. 1 at 12:50 a.m., police took Francois Parker, 33, 260 California Ave., Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Parker was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Narragansett Boulevard and Montgomery Avenue.
On Jan. 1 at 1:15 a.m., police took Michael Gomes, 34, 254 Washington St., Apt. 607, Providence, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court. Police say Gomes was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue.
