Cranston Police Log 04/15/21

DUI

On April 6 at 7:39 p.m., police arrested Daniel Casperson, 43, 94 Brayton Ave., Cranston, on a charge of driving under the influence, second offense. Police say Casperson was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Pontiac Avenue.

On April 9 at 10:13 p.m., police arrested Kenny Salazar Chicaj, 22, 93 America St., Apt. 2, Providence, on a charge of driving under the influence. Police say Salazar Chicaj was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Dyer Avenue.

DRUG CHARGES

On April 6 at 5:30 a.m., police arrested Nico D. German Jr., 19, 213 Smith St., Cranston, on two counts of manufacturing/possession/delivery of a controlled substance. Police say German was arrested on Smith Street.

On April 7 at 2:37 a.m., police arrested Joseph Paine, 34, 75 Cleveland Ave., Cranston, on a charge of possession of cocaine. Police say Paine was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop at Walnut Grove Avenue and Cannon Street. He was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court.

On April 7 at 5:56 p.m., police arrested Kong Yang, 24, 181 Arnold Ave., Cranston, on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule III controlled substance and manufacture/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance. Police say Yang was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Arnold Avenue.

On April 7 at 8:59 p.m., police arrested Ramon Granados, 36, 157 Reservoir Ave., Providence, on charges of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and shoplifting. Police say Granados was arrested as a result of a larceny complaint on Garfield Avenue. He was additionally taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued from North Providence Police.

WEAPONS CHARGES

On April 10 at 7:21 p.m., police arrested Emmanuel Cuba, 26, 25 Shortway Road, Cranston, on charges of license or permit required for carrying a pistol and possession of prohibited weapons other than firearms. Police say Cuba was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

On April 3 at 6:05 p.m., police arrested Eric Salo, 34, 31 Debbie Drive, Cranston, on charges of domestic felony vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

On April 5 at 11:05 p.m., police arrested Kyle McGibbon, 27, 203 Legion Way, Cranston, on charges of domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

On April 6 at 3:59 p.m., police arrested Britany Dysep, 25, 39 Pleasant View Drive, North Providence, on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

On April 8 at 4:19 p.m., police arrested Anthony Moosey, 21, 14 Cedar St., Cranston, on charges of domestic strangulation and domestic disorderly conduct.

On April 10 at 3:13 a.m., police arrested Isabella Mesa, 23, 73 Clemence St., Cranston, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct.

CYBERSTALKING

On April 8 at 4:45 p.m., police arrested Alexis Pezzullo, 18, 14 Cedar St., Cranston, on charges of cyberstalking and cyber-harassment.

LARCENY

On April 12 at 11:03 a.m., police arrested John E. Finck III, 42, 60 Peaked Rock Road, South Kingstown, on charges of breaking and entering and larceny over $1,500. Police say Finck was arrested on a Cranston Police warrant stemming from an investigation on Sharpe Drive.

SHOPLIFTING

On April 9 at 6:41 p.m., police arrested Steven Day, 59, 63 Berry St., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of shoplifting and larceny under $1,500. Police say Day was arrested as a result of a call for service on Atwood Avenue.

STOLEN GOODS

On April 8 at 7:34 p.m., police arrested Melvin Fermin Jiminez, 20, 58 Weston Ave., Cranston, on a charge of receiving stolen goods. Police say Fermin Jiminez was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Hillwood Street.

FALSE PRETENSES

On April 7 at 8:03 p.m., police arrested Matthew Austin, 42, Seekonk, Massachusetts, on a charge of obtaining money under false pretense, under $1,500. Police say Austin was transferred from the custody of East Providence Police.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

On April 5 at 11:28 p.m., police arrested Jessica Lubash, 44, 441 Woonasquatucket Ave., Apt. 15, North Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Lubash was arrested as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue.

On April 9 at 8:04 p.m., police arrested Tomas Lastor, 34, 504 Union Ave., Providence, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, third or subsequent offense. Police say Lastor was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Chestnut Hill Avenue. He was additionally taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Superior Court.

RECKLESS DRIVING

On April 6 at 6:36 p.m., police arrested Yamilets Castro, 24, 43 Devonshire St., Providence, on a charge of reckless driving. Police say Castro was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue.

RESISTING ARREST

On April 6 at 5:45 p.m., police arrested Ronald Dutra III, 37, 14 Hickory Road, Coventry, on a charge of resisting arrest. Police say Dutra was arrested during an attempted Coventry Police arrest warrant pickup on Cranston Street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

On April 6 at 7:19 p.m., police arrested Christopher Morin, 60, 11 Maplehurst Ave., Warwick, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say Morin was arrested as a result of a disturbance call on New London Avenue.

NO-CONTACT VIOLATION

On April 8 at 12:19 p.m., police arrested Osama Nashash, 48, 100 Elena St., Apt. 701, Cranston, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.

TRESPASSING

On April 7 at 8:50 a.m., police arrested Jamie A. Senesi, 46, no address listed, on a charge of willful trespassing. Police say Senesi was arrested as a result of a suspicious person report on Scituate Vista Drive.

WARRANTS

On April 6 at 12:39 a.m., police took Anthony Dinitto, 41, 143 McKinley St., Warwick, into custody on an arrest warrant issued from Johnston Police. Police say Dinitto was arrested as a result of a call for service on Harris Avenue.

On April 8 at 3:05 p.m., police took Sebastian Maria, 20, 1432 Narragansett Blvd., Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Cranston Municipal Court. Police say Maria turned himself in at the department’s Garfield Avenue headquarters.

On April 10 at 8:12 p.m., police took Gregory Goudreau, 36, 738 Dyer Ave., first floor, Cranston, into custody on a bench warrant issued from Third Division District Court. Police say Goudreau was arrested as a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston Street and Princess Avenue.
