DISTURBANCE OF PUBLIC ASSEMBLIES

At 2:10 p.m., Dec. 17, Cranston Police Officers arrested Michael Rekaris, 19, of 57 Bolton St., Cranston, for disturbance of public assemblies. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Cranston High School West, 80 Metropolitan Ave., according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Rekaris was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

ROBBERY

At 11:02 a.m., Dec. 15, Cranston Police Officers arrested David Dannemann, 37 of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, for Robbery (2nd Degree), Shoplifting, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest & Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty as a result of a call for service at 1020 Narragansett Boulevard, Shell. Dannemann was “held for Arraignment as Violator,” according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 5:39 p.m., Dec. 14, Cranston Police Officers arrested Luis Alvarez, 32, of 14 Knollwood Ave. Cranston, for License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol, Carrying a Weapon while Intoxicated, DUI 1st Offense-B.A.C. Unknown, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test, and Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of Reservoir and Aqueduct Road. Alvarez was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transported to ACI Intake. SEX OFFENDER FAILURE TO REGISTER At 2:18 p.m., Dec. 14, Cranston Police Officers arrested Rene Junior Correa, 40 of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston for a Cranston Police Arrest Warrant for Sex Offender Failure to Register as a result of a call for service at 5 Garfield Ave. Correa was “held for Arraignment as Violator,” according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

WARRANT ARRESTS

At 9:02 p.m., Dec. 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Shawn Mann, 30, of 24 Louisa St, Providence, for a Providence warrant for Domestic Assault as the result of an attempted pick-up at 146 Phenix Ave. Mann was turned over to Providence Police.

… At 10:56 a.m., Dec. 20, a Cranston Police Detective arrested Ronald D. Meloccaro, 64, of 95 Webber Ave., Cranston for larceny U/1500, at Stop & Shop, 200 Atwood Ave., as a result of an investigation and issuance of a Cranston Police Department affidavit and arrest warrant, according to the department’s arrest logs. Meloccaro was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 9:17 p.m., Dec. 14, Cranston Police Officers arrested Talia Kelley, 37, of 25 Imperial Ave. Cranston, for two outstanding Superior Court bench warrants. The arrest was the result of a call for a disturbance at 25 Imperial Ave., according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Kelley was transported to Women’s Intake Center.

At 8:23 p.m., Dec. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Keith Cortez, 30, of 149 Plantation Drive, Cranston, for a Lincoln Police arrest and affidavit warrant. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup at 149 Plantation Drive. Cortez was turned over to Lincoln Police. SHOPLIFTING

At 4:39 p.m., Cranston Police Officers arrested Anthony Santiago, 40, of 160 Broad St., Providence, for shoplifting and willful trespass. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Stop and Shop, 204 Garfield Ave. Santiago was “violated by AG’s Office, arraigned, and transferred to ACI,” according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

At 12:39 p.m., Dec. 15, Cranston Police Officers arrested January N. Fontaine, 43, homeless, for Shoplifting, Conspiracy, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest & a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of a shoplifting call at 247 Garfield Ave., Lowe’s. Fontaine was “held for Arraignment as a Violator,” according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

At 12:39 p.m., Dec. 15, Cranston Police Officers arrested Tabatha Mello, 39, homeless for Shoplifting & Conspiracy as a result of a shoplifting call at 247 Garfield Ave., Lowe’s. Mello was “held for Arraignment as a Violator,” according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 7:52 p.m., Dec. 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Stephanie Hernandez, 30, of 16 Waterman Ave., Cranston, for domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 16 Waterman Ave. Hernandez was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

At 2:08 a.m., Dec. 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Alejandra Kuret, 25, of 203 Grand Ave., #3, Cranston, for Domestic-Simple Assault/Battery, Domestic-Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property, Domestic-Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 203 Grand Ave. #3, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Kuret was held overnight awaiting arraignment.

At 2:08 a.m., Dec. 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Ian Polanco, 25, of 203 Grand Ave.#3, Cranston, for Domestic-Simple Assault/Battery. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 203 Grand Ave. #3, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Polanco was held overnight awaiting morning arraignment.

At 6:31 p.m., Dec. 17, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jose Rivas, 37, of 10 Reeves Place, Cranston, for domestic simple assault and battery and domestic disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at 10 Reeves Place, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Rivas was awaiting arraignment.

At 3:49 p.m., Dec. 15, Cranston Police Officers arrested Mario Abatiello, 35, of 134 Lake Garden Road, Cranston, for Domestic Felony Assault, Domestic Simple Assault, and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for a disturbance at 134 Lake Garden Road. Abatiello was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

At 5:44 p.m., Dec. 13, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jhenson Baldayac, 31, of 40 Ida St., Apt. 2, Providence, for Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, and an outstanding Providence Police arrest and affidavit warrant. The arrest was the result of an arrest by RI State Police, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Baldayac was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and transferred over to Providence Police.

DUI

At 7:56 p.m., Dec. 18, Cranston Police Officers arrested Mal Salvadore, 64, of 6 Betty Drive, Narragansett, for driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs (first offense, BAC unknown). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park Avenue, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Salvadore was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 6:54 p.m., Dec. 12, Cranston Police Officers arrested Marcos Velez Jr., 69, of 279 Webster Ave., Apt. 2, Providence, for driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs (first offense, BAC unknown) and as a fugitive from justice from New York. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Broad Street. Velez was awaiting arraignment, according to the Cranston Police arrest log.

DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE

At 6:05 p.m., Dec. 18, Cranston Police Officers charged Tracey Dubois, 40, of 9 Vermont St., Cranston, with driving with a suspended license (third/subsequent offense) as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Dyer Avenue, according to the Cranston Police arrest log. Dubois received a District Court Notice to Appear.
