With summer fast approaching, the city’s two high schools are preparing to wrap up the 2023-24 academic year and say goodbye to their seniors as they graduate.
For graduates of both of Cranston’s public high schools, June 8 will be the date that seniors officially turn their tassels to the left side of their cap.
Cranston High School East will start the day’s festivities, with their ceremony occurring at 10 a.m. at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
Cranston West, meanwhile, will head to PPAC that afternoon for their graduation, which begins at 3 p.m.
The Cranston Area Career and Technical Center will have their graduation on June 5 at 6:30 p.m. Unlike East and West, their ceremony will not take place at PPAC — rather; it will be on Cranston West’s field.
On June 6, the city's third high school Apprenticeship Exploration School (AES) will celebrate graduation at 6 p.m. in the Crowne Plaza.
