Caregiver’s Support Group
Wednesday June 7th & 21st – 2:00 p.m.
Facilitator: Jennifer Kevorkian
Being a Caregiver can result in ignoring your physical and emotional health. Oftentimes, Caregivers don’t recognize the symptoms of stress that they are experiencing. Securing support from others is essential. Our Support Group is here for you. Sharing your own experiences with the group can help ease your emotional burden and feelings. As others in the group share their stories, you can gain valuable insight about how others deal with similar situations. Remember you are not alone. Our Support Group now meets twice a month, the first and third Wednesday of each month. For more information call Jennifer at 780-6254.
For Caregivers!
Are you caring for someone with dementia who exhibits difficult to manage behaviors? You may be eligible to participate in a research study seeking advice and feedback from caregivers about what types of supports are needed. Enrolled participants will be compensated for their time. The study will take place (video call) through Rhode Island Hospital’s Neuropsychology Program. If interested, contact the study coordinator Dr. Kim Chapman at 401-829-4310
