Neighborhood Health Plan of RI

Thursday, July 20th – 10:00 a.m.

A Neighborhood Health Plan Outreach Representative will be available to provide you information and answer your questions regarding their plan.

Stress Management:

Provided by: Blue Cross Blue Shield RI

This 4 part series addresses ways to handle personal stressors while managing everyday tasks. Participants will learn about internal triggers to stress and identify ways to avoid them.

Week 2:  Understanding Anger & Its Impact

Wednesday, July 26th – 10:00 a.m.

The objective of this session is to create an understanding about key aspects of participants’ anger experiences and seek to develop more effective skills for overall anger management.

Week 3: Stress Hardy:  Bouncing Back from Difficult Times

Wednesday, August 2nd  – 10:00 a.m.

Week 4: Recognizing Stress & Maintaining Balance

Wednesday, August 9th – 10:00 a.m.

Tai Chi

Wednesdays – 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Fee: $3.00

Tai Chi is Back!!!! Beginning Wednesday, July 26th.  Come join us and bring a friend.

Mat Yoga

Thursdays – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Fee: $3.00

Yoga is a mind and body practice that focuses on posture and breathing techniques.  What are the benefits of Yoga?  Chronic pain relief, better sleep, decreased blood pressure, less stress, diabetes management, better stability & balance, greater flexibility, and improved respiration.  Certainly worth a try!!!!
