Hosted by: Cranston RSVP, Cranston Police & CCAP
Drop off your unwanted, unused or expired prescriptions/medications and we will properly dispose of them for you! Accepted medications include: prescription meds, prescription ointments & liquids, over-the-counter meds, vitamins & pet medications.
Day of Wellness
Monday, October 30th – 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Provided by: Johnson & Wales Occupational Therapy Program
What to expect: Six stations that include: fall prevention, adaptive equipment, home safety ideas, mental health, energy conservation techniques, sleep hygiene & routines.
Occupational therapy students and faculty will guide you through these stations that will provide screenings, education, and resources. Be sure to stop by for this very important FREE Wellness event! Bring your friends!
Halloween Costume Contest
Tuesday, October 31st – 11:00 a.m.
You are invited to join us for a costume contest. A prize of $25 will be awarded to the “Best Halloween Costume.” Come join the fun and then stay for lunch. If you are staying for lunch be sure to call and make your reservation 780-6134.
Stress During the Holiday Season

URI Pharmacy Outreach Program
There are many dynamics that can make the holidays stressful: stress due to orchestrating pa perfect family celebration, holiday bills, loses due to divorce or death in the family, crowded social calendars, etc. At this presentation we will discuss how to recognize and how to handle holiday stress.

Celebrate “El Dia De Los Muertos”

Wednesday, November 1st – 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Butler Hospital Memory & Aging Program and the Cranston Department of Senior Services’ Dementia-Friendly Team are hosting a family-friendly Community Health Fair at the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center. The theme of the health fair is to celebrate and remember loved ones who have passed and to educate the community on brain health. Snacks will be served, face painting for both children and adults and the Disney movie Coco will be shown. All are invited! Bring your children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors.
