Being a caregiver can result in ignoring your own physical and emotional health. Oftentimes, caregivers don’t recognize the symptoms of stress that they are experiencing. Securing support from other family members, friends, and community groups is essential. It may be hard to ask for and/or accept help, but you cannot do it alone. The Caregivers’ Support Group will encourage caregivers to care for themselves and provide productive strategies for dealing with conflicts or tensions that may arise when caregiving. Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. For more information call Jennifer at 780-6254.
