Prescription Drug Take Back Event

Drop off unwanted, unused or expired prescriptions/medications and we will properly dispose of them of you! Accepted medications include: prescription medications, prescription ointments & liquids, over-the-counter medications, vitamins & pet medications.
Age-Related Vision Problems

URI Pharmacy Outreach Program
Age-related vision changes may happen as we age. But eye problems aren’t something you should simply write off as normal. At this presentation we will review the common types of vision problems, their diagnosis, and their treatments. We will also provide a practical guide to proper use and application of eye drops and ointments.
“Walk With Ease” with a Twist
A Self-Directed Walking Program
Six weeks three times a week
Beginning week of May 13th ending June 21st
Keep on Moving! After the winter months it is time to get back to a walking routine. The goal of this self-directed program is to walk a minimum of 3 times a week for six weeks. You can walk alone, with a friend, or a group. Walk 10 minutes or 1 hour. Whatever works for you. Register by calling 780-6000. To keep track of your days a log will be sent to you. **If you are interested in walking with others call Maria at 780-6128 for further information.
Tools for Healthy Living
Tuesdays 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Beginning May 14th ending June 18th
This FREE workshop is for individuals who simply want to improve their quality of life. This interactive workshop will improve your overall health. Topics to be covered: managing symptoms & medications; communicating with families & doctors; relieving stress; eating well & setting goals to improve your health & lifestyle. Participants will receive a workbook and after successfully completing the program will receive a gift certificate. Space is limited. Call 780-6000 to register.
Healthy Eating For Successful Living
“A Free Six Week Workshop”

Learn to make healthier food choices, improve portion control, plan meals to better control fats, sugars, carbs, and sodium, participate in a virtual cooking demonstration and have the opportunity to ask questions to a registered dietitian.
