Research me?

Are you an older adult looking to participate in research?

Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospital are conducting a study which attempts to find new markers for early detection of cognitive decline Alzheimer’s dementias.

Who is Eligible? Adults aged 60+ with and without a family history of Alzheimer’s dementias.

Information: You will be asked to perform computer tasks that involve looking at images and pressing buttons. While you do these tasks, you will wear a cap that will measure the electrical activity of your brain. The cap is non-invasive and does not hurt.

Study involves 1-2 study visits, paper & pencil testing, and cognitive tests.

Compensation will be provided for participation in this study.
