Cranston Ward 6 Democrats Dan Wall and Dylan Zelazo announced Tuesday that they will work as a team to ensure Ward 6 has the best representation possible for the next two years and moving forward. Wall, the current Ward 6 School Committee Member and School Committee Chairman, will run for the Ward 6 City Council seat, and Zelazo will run to fill the vacated seat on the School Committee.

"It has been an honor serving Ward 6 as their School Committee member and I am ready to continue to make a difference for my neighbors as their Councilman," said Wall. "Dylan Zelazo and I both care a great deal about Cranston, its future and its schools. Dylan is a friend and I know he will make a great School Committee member. Dylan has what it takes to be a leader from day one on the committee. When the two of us sat down, we agreed the best thing for our community is for us to work together to ensure our local offices are held by people of integrity, who put the community first."

"Local Leadership is so important," said Zelazo. "Dan Wall has a proven track record of putting the needs of the community first. Dan is a great public servant and an even better friend. I am excited that he is running to be our Councilman, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the City of Cranston together, should the voters choose us. As a father of three children between the ages of seven and one, the future of Cranston's schools is personal to me. I believe I can contribute to future improvements and am hopeful to serve the residents of Ward 6 as their School Committee Member."
