Donna M. Raleigh, 74, passed away Wednesday July 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife for 53 years of Richard E. Raleigh WFD (ret.). Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James S. and Elsie M. (Coupe) Salmon. Donna received her Bachelor’s in Business and Education at Bryant College, and her Master’s in Education from Johnson & Wales. She was a business teacher at Warwick Veterans Memorial High School for 34 years, serving as Department Head, and also ran the Future Business Leaders of America. She retired after the birth of her first grandchild. Donna loved spending time with her husband in Key West, reading, crocheting, and puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Richard E. Raleigh Jr. (Kristen), and Keith W. Raleigh (Melanie). She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, and Brianna Raleigh. She is predeceased by her sister Beverly Burns.
Her funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Hospice, 1085 N Main St, Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
