Local scout, Eston Fowler, used the opportunity of his eagle project to reconstruct the dilapidated boardwalks used by those who walk the path behind Fay Memorial Field in Cranston. A student at Cranston High School East, Fowler is a member of Cranston Scout Troop 4 Gaspee Plateau.
“I chose the project because I personally use the path a lot, and some of the boardwalks were decomposing,” Fowler said. “So, I decided to replace a few as well as add on to it, knowing that me and a lot of other people would benefit from it. (Photos by Linda Maynard)
