Lady Bolts seeking first win

By ALEX SPONSELLER The Cranston East girls soccer team is still in search of its first win of the season as it has fallen to an 0-4 start.

Here is a recap of the Lady Bolts’ season to this point:

Moses Brown 2, East 0

The Lady Bolts dropped their opener to Moses Brown. Moses Brown would net scores in each half to complete the shut out. East keeper Zasia Barron had a solid day in net, recording nine saves.

North Providence 3, East 0

North Providence came out strong offensively to hand the Bolts their second loss of the year. Barron and Madison Pappas combined for 14 stops in net for East in the loss.

East Providence 4, East 1

Despite falling to the host Townies last week to drop to 0-3, the Bolts were able to record their first goal of the season on a score from Evelyn Vallee. Barron and Pappas combined for 11 saves in net.

West Warwick 3, East 1

The Lady Bolts once again scored against visiting West Warwick, getting a goal from Kylie McCreavy and an assist from Savana Lavimodiere. Barron and Pappas recorded 18 saves overall in net.
