A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently to celebrate the new location of EXIT Realty Professionals at 432 Atwood Ave.

EXIT Realty Professionals is owned by Vickie Pizzarelli, who has worked in the real estate industry since the 1980s. She opened her first brokerage through EXIT Realty in 2015 in Plainville, Massachusetts, and started a second brokerage on Atwood Avenue in Johnston in 2017.

“It was a small office and I wanted to see how well it would do,” Pizzarelli said.

Within months, the Johnston brokerage’s roster of agents and REALTORS had grown significantly. That led Pizzarelli to search for a new location.

“Needless to say, I had to find a larger space. I had the opportunity to move four minutes up the road but in Cranston, right in the same town I started my real estate career in Rhode Island,” she said.
